75th Convention of the ECD (Postponed)

Greetings in the Name of Christ,
Many Episcopalians recognize the names of Thomas Gallaudet and Henry Winter Syle, as leaders in providing ministry to deaf and hard of hearing persons.  What many people do not know is that The Episcopal Conference for the Deaf exists to continue to provide ministries to the Deaf Community.
For almost 150 years, The Episcopal Conference of the Deaf (ECD) has been a national association serving Deaf Ministries throughout the Episcopal Church.  We work to gather the Deaf Community in Christian fellowship, within local Dioceses and congregations.  The Deaf Community is small, and scattered, so the need is great to gather those who wish to be a part of The Episcopal Church.
The ECD is pleased to announce that our next triennial ECD convention will still happen, it is just postponed until summer of 2021. It will be held at Dumas Bay Retreat Centre, Federal Way, WA.  It will give opportunity for many deaf Episcopalians networking opportunities that they do not get in their home churches or dioceses.  The Convention is an opportunity for the Deaf Community to gather, pray, share resources and learn together.
We need your help!  We are looking for assistance from parishes, dioceses and Bishops to help offset the cost of the ECD Convention and to allow Deaf Episcopalians to benefit from attending the 2021 ECD Convention.   Your support will be recognized as “Convention Sponsor” in our program book and at our banquet.
Please mail your donation to Episcopal Conference of the Deaf (memo line: ECD 2021) by January 31, 2021 to:
